Project Arcanum: Kitchen Fire

For our internal project at Beyond-FX, Project Arcanum, I took on creating a major gameplay moment involving a kitchen fire that blocks the players progress and a puzzle that must be solved in order to proceed. For this is I created fire and smoke flipbooks using EmberGen, created additional textures, put together shaders and build Blueprints to bring the systems all together. A blend of Niagara particle assets, lights, and material work that was a lot of fun!
